The Bubble Art is a seasonal digital-art marketplace. Instead of an endless feed where new work vanishes in hours, pieces are released in curated ‘seasons’ — each one an event, with featured covers, a live auction floor and a collection of pieces for sale. Collectors can browse the drop, bid in real time, or step inside an immersive 3D gallery and walk the room. For artists, it’s a low subscription, a gallery of their own, and zero commission — they keep everything they make. Desverso designed and built the entire product end to end.
Digital artists are squeezed by high-commission platforms and lost in infinite feeds where fresh work disappears almost instantly. The goal was a marketplace that makes every release feel like an event — curated seasonal drops with scarcity and momentum — while letting artists keep 100% of their sales and giving collectors richer, more memorable ways to discover and own art.
We designed and built the full platform: a seasonal release system that drops curated collections; a live auction floor with real-time bidding, countdowns, proxy maximums and buy-now; a browsable marketplace of pieces for sale; artist profiles tagged by discipline and nationality with smart filtering; an immersive, walkable 3D gallery — ‘Walk the Room’ — for an exhibition-style experience; and a low-subscription, zero-commission model giving every artist their own gallery — all in a refined, gallery-grade dark interface.
Beyond browsing, collectors can step inside the season’s gallery and walk the room — moving with the keyboard, looking around, and clicking any piece to open it. It turns an online store into a quiet, spotlit exhibition you explore at your own pace.
Running the marketplace is just as considered as browsing it. The admin console gives the team a live overview — members, revenue, orders, artworks, auctions and bids at a glance — plus tools to manage the catalogue, add artists and artwork, run auctions, handle orders and payments, and edit site content, all from one place.
