A marque that sells silence cannot shout on its own website. So the film runs the page: eight clips, no music, and a hull that only ever leaves a thin white line.

- PreactAliased at build for a smaller runtime
- 4Film cards over live footage
Overview
The brief
We invented a Norwegian yard building an all-electric watercraft and gave it the launch site the boat would deserve. The brief we set ourselves was to sell a feeling that has no sound — so every section is carried by motion footage rather than copy, and the writing stays out of the way.
The work

02DriveThe craft held still in the fjord while four film cards — Volt Line, Fjord Born, Glass Water, Under Current — float over the footage, each one a separate clip behind its own play control.
03Shaped by iceSection copy resolving over granite and glacial light, with the performance figures counting up from zero as the band arrives.
04Under currentThe sealed jet drive seen from below the waterline — the one shot that explains the product, kept for the point in the page where the claim is made.
How it was built
The detail
Eight silent clips do the talking, each one poster-framed so the first paint is an image rather than a black rectangle, and each one paused the moment it leaves the viewport. The performance band counts range, top speed and charge time up from zero as it arrives, then holds. React is aliased to Preact at build time, which takes the runtime down to a few kilobytes and matters on a page already carrying this much video. Four film cards — Volt Line, Fjord Born, Glass Water, Under Current — sit over the drive footage and lift on hover without ever covering the hull.
