Overview

Designing a space people walk into

A booth is a small building with a sales job. Visitors approach from aisles at walking pace, so the first read happens from a distance and lasts a few seconds: who you are and what you do, placed high where crowds cannot block it. Closer in, the layout should invite a step inside, with demo areas, seating or product displays positioned so staff can start conversations naturally.

The core trade-off is custom build versus modular system. Custom builds offer the most impact but cost more to ship, store and rebuild. Modular frame and fabric systems are lighter, reusable and quicker to install, but have limits on shape. Many clients mix the two. We help you weigh impact against how often you exhibit, how you transport the booth and your venue’s rules.

Good exhibition design also respects the practicalities: power and data locations, storage for literature and coats, sight lines for staff, accessible flooring, and graphics that can be updated between shows without rebuilding the whole structure. We also plan how the booth packs, ships and installs, since a design that takes too long to set up will cost more in labor charges at every show.

Who it’s for

Built for teams like yours

  • 01

    B2B companies at trade shows

Businesses that rely on industry events for pipeline and need a booth that attracts the right visitors, supports demos and gives sales staff a comfortable place to talk.

  • 02

    First-time exhibitors

Companies attending their first major event who need guidance on layout, graphics, venue rules and timelines, alongside a design that looks credible next to long-established exhibitors.

  • 03

    Museums and showrooms

Organizations planning permanent or temporary displays, pop-ups or showrooms where visitors move through a space and graphics, objects and lighting need to tell a coherent story.

Why it matters

Make the aisle stop

At a busy event you have moments to earn attention. We design booths with clear messaging, strong sight lines and a layout that guides visitors from first glance to a real conversation.

Every design is prepared with your booth size, venue rules and fabricator in mind, so what you see in the render is what gets built.

Every engagement includes

  • Event briefgoals, audience, booth size and venue rules.
  • Concept designlayout and look explored in early sketches.
  • 3D rendersrealistic views from the angles visitors will see.
  • Booth graphicswalls, banners and signage at production size.
  • Technical drawingsdimensions and specs for your fabricator.
  • Event extrasmatching handouts, displays and screen content.

In practice

Event spaces we plan

  • Inline booth on a tight footprint

Small inline spaces are open on one side only. We use the back wall for a bold, high-placed message, keep the floor uncluttered and design a compact counter so the space feels open rather than crowded.

  • Island booth with demo stations

Open on all sides, island booths need a design that works from every aisle. We plan demo stations, meeting areas and storage so traffic flows through and each side presents a clear, readable message.

  • Reusable booth for a show circuit

Exhibiting at several events a year calls for a system that adapts to different footprints. We design modular components and graphics that reconfigure for smaller and larger spaces without looking like a compromise.

  • Product launch at an event

Launches need a focal point and a moment. We design reveal areas, hero displays, staging for presentations and supporting screens so the launch draws a crowd while the rest of the booth stays functional.

Process

How we work

  1. 1

    Show requirements

We review the exhibitor manual, booth dimensions, height limits, rigging rules and deadlines, alongside your goals, staff numbers and what needs to be displayed or demonstrated during the event. Missed deadlines there add cost.

  2. 2

    Floor plan

We sketch layouts showing traffic flow, zones for demos, meetings and storage, and the placement of power and screens, agreeing how the space should work before deciding how it looks.

  3. 3

    3D concept

We model the booth in 3D and render it from aisle approaches and visitor eye level, so you can judge visibility, scale and atmosphere as attendees will experience it on the show floor.

  4. 4

    Graphics and specs

We produce large-format graphics at production resolution and technical drawings with dimensions, materials and finishes for your fabricator, coordinating details and questions with them directly when helpful. Color proofs are checked before printing.

  5. 5

    Show readiness

We review fabricator proofs, prepare a setup reference with photos and diagrams, and design matching handouts, screen content and badges so everything at the event looks like one coordinated presence.
