Overview
The brief
A fictional Modena marque with one car and ninety-nine examples of it. The whole site is built around a single idea: a reveal you perform rather than watch. The hero opens on a covered car and the linen only lifts as you drag or scroll, so the first sight of the Fulmine is something the visitor did.
The work

02The revealThe frame sequence scrubbed against scroll — 1,010 frames across two density sets, decoded ahead of the playhead so the linen lifts smoothly in either direction.
03The figuresAn RPM dial sweeping to 9,250 while six numbers resolve beside it, each one labelled and each one captioned as a target figure for a concept car.
04Up closeFour details indexed one to four — headlamps, intake, tail, wheel — each with its own full-bleed plate and a caption that explains how the part is made.
How it was built
The detail
The reveal is a frame sequence, not a video — 1,010 WebP frames across separate desktop and mobile sets, decoded ahead of the playhead and scrubbed against scroll position so it can be driven backwards, held mid-act, or dragged. It runs in three acts (Under linen, First light, Revealed) with a take counter and timecode, the way a cut would be logged. Lenis smooths the scroll feeding it. Below, an RPM dial sweeps to 9,250 as the figures resolve one at a time, and the Up Close section indexes four details — the light-blade headlamps machined from a single billet among them — each with its own plate and caption.
