My Car Mentors is a virtual garage and expert-support platform for car owners, enthusiasts and builders. From a check-engine light to a full custom build, members connect with verified automotive mentors over live video, audio and chat, ask one-off paid questions, and track every phase of a build in one place. Desverso designed and built the entire product end to end — marketing site, mentor marketplace, booking and consultations, paid Q&A, the build tracker, and secure payments.
Car owners and builders are stuck between expensive dealership visits and unreliable forum advice. The goal was a single, trustworthy platform where they could reach the right verified expert at the right moment — for a quick question or an entire build — with scheduling, real-time consultations, payments and progress tracking all built in.
We designed and built the whole product: a dynamic mentor marketplace with filtering by specialty, rating, price and availability; live video, audio and chat consultations with scheduling and session logs; an ‘Ask a Pro’ paid Q&A flow with photo and video attachments; a phase-by-phase build tracker — the ‘virtual garage’ — with receipts and mentor sign-off; flexible monetization (per-question, per-session and memberships) on Stripe and PayPal; and verified, review-rated mentor profiles — all in a fast, mobile-responsive dark interface.
Beyond the marketplace, members and mentors get a full dashboard — manage bookings and live sessions, track build phases in the virtual garage, answer paid questions, and handle payouts and messages, all in one place.
